Website Disclaimer
Last updated: 2026
The information on this website is provided by Schenectady Restoration Pro ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read this disclaimer so you understand what the site can and cannot do for you.
General Information Only
The pages on this site explain water damage and our services in general terms. They are not a diagnosis of your building, a repair plan, or professional advice. Every property and every loss is different, so what applies to one may not apply to another.
Why an Inspection Matters
Water moves where you cannot see it, and the right plan depends on the cause, the materials, how long they were wet, and what the water carried. Only an inspection of your property can answer those questions. Please treat the site as a starting point, not a substitute.
Safety Comes First
Water near electricity, contaminated water, damaged structures, and slippery floors are real hazards. If anyone is in danger, call 911. If you smell gas, leave the building and call from outside. Nothing on this website should lead you to take a risk you are not comfortable with.
What We Do Not Do
We are a restoration company. We do not provide plumbing, roofing, electrical, structural engineering, or legal services, and we do not clear sewer lines or repair foundations. When a job needs one of those trades, we tell you so, and you should use a qualified professional.
No Promised Results or Timelines
We cannot promise how much of a property or its contents can be saved, how long drying or cleanup will take, or when a crew can arrive. Those details depend on conditions and are discussed when you contact us.
Estimates, Pricing, and Availability
Free estimates are based on what you tell us and what we find at inspection. They can change if conditions differ, and we tell you before anything significant changes. Service availability, hours, and the areas we reach may change, and we confirm them when you contact us.
Mold, Sewage, and Health Information
We do not diagnose health conditions, and nothing here is medical advice. Mold and sewage can affect health, and anyone with concerns should speak with a doctor. In New York, larger mold projects are subject to State licensing rules, and the descriptions on this site are general summaries. For current requirements, check with the New York State Department of Labor.
Insurance and Financial Matters
We are not your insurer, adjuster, or attorney. We can document the damage and share our records, but we cannot decide whether a claim is covered or promise that it will be paid. Your policy and your insurer determine coverage. Read your policy, or ask your agent for advice.
Outside Sources
Some pages mention guidance from outside organizations such as the EPA, or refer to government offices such as the City of Schenectady or the New York State Department of Labor. Those sources can change, so please confirm current details with them directly.
Limit on Responsibility
We make reasonable efforts to keep this site accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions or losses that result from relying on the information here instead of a professional inspection.
Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. When we do, we will change the year at the top of this page.
